Overall, we were very satisfied with our stay.
The first 3 stages between Angoulême and Rochefort were very nice, with a varied and pleasant itinerary. We didn’t know this region at all.
Well-constructed stages, very good hotels.
We really enjoyed Cognac, Saintes and Rochefort, and are rather disappointed by Angoulême, but there’s nothing you can do about that!
We returned from Ile d’Oléron by boat, which we took at St Trojan to get back to La Tremblade. Very nice, maybe you could offer it as an option. Because of the heat, we had to shorten our stay on this island, and returned to Marennes by this route.
Finally, the return trip to Royan went smoothly, and the itinerary was very pleasant.

All in all, we really enjoyed it.
