Gastronomic dinner in a Michelin-starred restaurant in Bordeaux

Established in 1825, this restaurant was one of the first three-star gourmet restaurants in history (it was one of the first 33 establishments to be awarded the Michelin star in 1933). In the early years of the 20th century, Bordeaux merchants, wealthy transatlantic travelers and the distinguished clientele of the Café Anglais on their way to their Basque Coast resorts all stopped off at this address in Bordeaux… The restaurant became a new, very French, gourmet and refined rendezvous. Toulouse-Lautrec often came to dine with his journalist friend Paul Berthelot, Sacha Guitry swore by tournedos diplomate, while Sarah Bernhardt loved ortolans… This gastronomic restaurant has always maintained its reputation and charm, and is still one of the Michelin-starred restaurants today. The priority of the Chef, who has 1 Michelin star, is to base his cuisine on products from controlled agriculture. This quest for authenticity opens up the Gironde terroir, which holds no secrets for him. It’s always with great care that he selects his suppliers and products.

The chef will prepare a menu for you, comprising an amuse bouche, starter, main course, cheese platter and dessert. The menu will be accompanied by a selection of 4 glasses of wine chosen by the sommelier, mineral water at your discretion and coffee.
